We’re experiencing issues implementing the new guidance for September to include the KID1 form with each affordability referral. At this stage, customers are not always sure which property type they are able to afford, which could be a 1,2,3 or 4 bedroom. As our sites are so large, we often have multiple housetypes which could result in sending out 10+ KID1 forms to a customer which is simply too much information at this stage. Why was the decision made to physically attach or link this these at this stage when previous guidance provides links and reference points on our websites/listings? At the point prior to reservation, the full breakdown is provided in KID2 which is relevant to the property they’re looking to purchase and makes more sense for the customer. We’re not sure this process works in practice, our customers are becoming confused and overwhelmed. We would like to hear thoughts on other providers, particularly those delivering larger developments to see if they have also struggled or found an alternative workaround?
